DHS Car Parade Drone Video
In between capturing all the smiles on the ground, I handed my camera to my assistant (that day, my husband, Andrew, filled in) and flew the drone for a couple loops during the parade. Capturing the footage was bittersweet: while I love the joy of the kids who looked up and waved, the larger picture from above underscored how socially distant we still remain.
